New Participation in Arts Programme at Greatmore

Greatmore is expanding its programmes to include workshops and classes that are open to the public.
These classes are held in the new gallery space during the day and some evenings, allowing us to make the most of our space. Programme leaders are welcome to submit proposals for review by the committee. At >present there are three classes in the week with a further two classes starting in June.
It is hoped that the classes on offer will compliment Greatmore’s aims to increase visual literacy as well as impact the arts in education.
Some of the things we wish to address through the programme are:
To offer a wide array of different art techniques. We also wish to have classes that attract all age groups.
- Skills development and social upliftment.
- Environmental awareness through the arts.
- Art for human rights.
- Social and health benefits.
